Cora and Sarah are a couple of nerdy Irish women with a passion for feminism, queer theory, film, literature and all manner of media and pop culture. Expect intricate musings galore and rantings aplenty!
Sarah is a qualified English and History teacher who has recently abandoned her home town of Dublin, Ireland for the colder pastures of Vancouver. She is currently working in a bookstore while doing some freelance writing and blogging. She is a fantasy and sci-fi nerd, and tries her best to read female authors when possible, because that’s what good little feminists do. She enjoys humus, falafel and burritos and is instant friends with anyone who provides her with these delicious foods. She also enjoys music festivals, tattoos and wine. Especially wine. Give her wine. She doesn’t really think there’s anything wrong with the human anatomy and is frequently stared at for talking about poop in public.
Cora isn’t qualified to do much, except for maybe telling you where you can find a mean burrito in the Dublin area (Boojum. Always Boojum). Well, she does have an English degree. That being said; she is still only (just about) qualified to assist you in making an
informed decision about the purchasing of Irish burritos. She likes a lot of stuff and things, especially when stuff and things involve movies, television, manga, feminism and things that are shiny. She has delusions of one day changing the world through the creation of something wildly innovative and exciting that is sure to blow your mind and knock your socks off, but for now blogging is going to have to do.
